About Us
Beaufort Rentals has been locally owned and operated since its founding in 2003 by Matt Flewelling, who began his career here as an employee and now proudly owns the company. We value long-term relationships—many of our team members have been with us for over five years, and some for more than ten.
While the work is demanding, we stand behind our team, offering strong support and fostering a sense of community. We host quarterly get-togethers and have the most fun at our Christmas parties.
Our passion is delivering successful results—for our owner investors, our tenants, and, most importantly, our employees. We’re always seeking new opportunities for our team to grow. Several of our team members have even gone on to partner with us to start their own companies. Community Involvement
At Beaufort Rentals, we are passionate about giving back and making a lasting impact in our community. We proudly host the annual Waterfront Burger Bash to raise awareness for Developmental Disability causes, a local event that brings our community together for a great cause. Additionally, for the last decade, we’ve made monthly contributions to the Navy Marine Corps Relief Fund as a commitment to supporting military families.
Every year on Veterans Day, we make a donation to a veteran charity, honoring those who have served. We also encourage our employees to get involved with local charitable organizations by providing them the time to attend events and, in some cases, covering their membership dues. For us, community involvement is more than an initiative—it’s part of who we are.
