Vendors are going to be in your home making repairs, so they have to be reliable and they have to be excellent at what they do. It is never a good idea to choose a vendor based strictly on price. In the long run, you might end up paying a higher price if they don’t get the job done right. Once you have a list of potential vendors, look them up on Google or Yelp and read the reviews. Ask for referrals and look for experienced vendors with a proven track record. Try to look for vendors that are available on nights and weekends because unfortunately, most property emergencies don’t happen during business hours.

- What type of services do they offer?
- How long it will take to deliver the service?
- What hours or days are they available?
- What is their hourly rate?
